This NIOSH-approved 3M™ Advanced Particulate Filter 2296 is P100 rated and offers nuisance level acid gas relief. Designed for use in environments with oil and non-oil based particles, these filters are essential for respiratory protection in hazardous workplaces. The bayonet-style connection ensures a secure fit with a wide range of compatible 3M™ Reusable Respirators, including the 6000, 6500, 7500, 7800S Series, FF-400 Series, and 3M™ Scott™ AV-3000 SureSeal or AV-3000 HT facepieces. Utilizing advanced Electret Media (AEM), these filters provide lightweight comfort and easy breathing, minimizing respiratory strain during extended use. Installation is quick and easy with a quarter-turn twist lock. These filters are also flame resistant. For optimal performance and safety, use these filters for protection in hazardous environments where workplace/occupational use is required. They are engineered to help reduce inhalation exposures to certain airborne biological particles and can help filter a broad range of oil and non-oil based airborne particulate contaminants. These filters are effective against particulate contaminant concentrations up to 10 times the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepieces and up to 50 times the OSHA PEL with quantitatively fit tested full facepieces. Change filters when they become dirty, damaged, or difficult to breathe through. Not for use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH) or contain hazardous levels of organic vapors and/or acid gases (except hydrogen fluoride on certain models).
