These filters are crucial for environments where airborne particulates are a concern. When used with half facepieces, they offer protection up to 10 times the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL), and with quantitatively fit-tested full facepieces, they provide protection up to 50 times the OSHA PEL.
